I'm Elisa and NunaPaper is my crafting brand created with the aim of creating original paper-based products that meet the timeless need to preserve photographs and memories, while also helping those looking for unique, personalized creations and providing photographers, artists, and creatives with the most suitable supports for expressing their ideas.
It all started under the symbol of the moon “nuna”, as my son used to say when he started to pronounce his first words.
In 2017 my dream of paper began. It enabled me to combine my past profession as a graphic designer, my need to express my creativity through my hands and my passion for photography.
These three factors found in paper the perfect support to make this wish come true.

Even before binding, I primarily focus on the graphic and functional design of the products, as well as their construction, considering both practicality and the quality of materials and papers, preferably eco-friendly. The goal is not only to create handcrafted products, but to craft tools that can harness the creative potential of people. My preference for concertina binding, also known as a "leporello," stems precisely from the possibilities it offers: it allows for the creation of albums that are not just items to flip through, but also authentic, essential, and multifaceted objects, open to our ideas.
I also create custom packaging for different and boxes for albums and photographic prints made with high-quality materials, such as handmade and silkscreened Japanese and Nepali papers or hand-painted Indian cotton papers.

Born and raised in Rome, I hold a degree in contemporary art and initially worked as an art historian in museum education for the Soprintendenza at the Roman Museum Network, and later as a graphic and web designer for several years. Over time, my passion for art and photography led me to develop my own independent research in the field of craftsmanship and design. Today, I have my own studio-workshop within the spaces of Laboratorio Fotografico Corsetti in San Lorenzo, Rome. Together, we design custom supports, albums, and materials for photographers, enthusiasts, and professionals, as well as for anyone seeking tailor‑made products for special projects, events, and ceremonies
My studio is in Rome in Via del Volsci 101d (San Lorenzo district).

Mi chiamo Elisa e NunaPaper è il mio progetto di design e artigianato nato a Roma col proposito di realizzare con la carta prodotti in grado di rispondere al bisogno mai tramontato di conservare fotografie e ricordi, e allo stesso tempo di aiutare chi è in cerca di creazioni personalizzate uniche e per fornire a fotografi, artisti e creativi i supporti più adatti all'espressione delle loro idee.
Tutto nasce nel segno della luna, "nuna", come la chiamava mio figlio quando ha iniziato a pronunciare le sue prime parole. Nel 2017 è iniziato il mio sogno di carta, che mi ha portato a combinare insieme il mestiere di graphic designer con il bisogno innato di esprimermi con le mani e la passione per la fotografia.
Tre ingredienti che hanno trovato nella carta il supporto perfetto per trasformare quel sogno in qualcosa di concreto. Così la luna mi ricorda sempre che per dar vita ad un'idea bisogna guardare lontano e sognare.

Nata e cresciuta a Roma, sono laureata in arte contemporanea e ho lavorato prima come storico dell'arte nell'ambito della didattica museale per la Soprintendenza al Polo Museale Romano, poi come graphic e web designer per diversi anni. Successivamente la passione per l'arte e la fotografia mi hanno portata a sviluppare la mia ricerca autonoma nel campo dell'artigianato e del design.
Oggi ho il mio studio-laboratorio negli spazi del Laboratorio Fotografico Corsetti in San Lorenzo a Roma. Insieme progettiamo supporti, album e materiali su misura per fotografi, appassionati e professionisti, e per chi cerca prodotti su misura per progetti speciali, eventi, cerimonie.
